(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 05, 2010 ) SAN DIEGO, Calif., May 5, 2010 – Xerox vice president Julie Hogan was the keynote speaker at the Women in Services (WIS) networking dinner held at Technology Services World 2010 Silicon Valley last night. The three-day event, hosted by TSIA, is the preeminent source of learning and peer networking in the services industry.
Guest speaker Hogan is responsible for Xerox sales, technical services delivery, and professional services in the San Francisco Bay area. Prior to her 22 years at Xerox, Hogan served in the U. S. Navy providing technical support for classified defense computer systems and intelligence projects. Hogan is a Xerox Lean Six Sigma certified green belt and currently serves on the board of directors for Out & Equal Workplace Advocates. The focus of her talk was on the education, mentoring, and work that have made her career a success.
The Women in Services dining and networking event affords participants access to senior women executives in services to discuss business and career challenges. A portion of the dinner ticket price and chance drawing tickets are donated to Dress for Success San Diego, a charity organization that provides business attire and career counseling for financially challenged women.
