(EMAILWIRE.COM, August 11, 2010 ) SAN DIEGO, CA – The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the world’s leading association for today’s technology services organizations, has introduced its new Support Services Benchmark Survey—the most comprehensive source for support operations seeking to gather comparative data, discover industry best practices, and assess organizational health. Launched in July and open to TSIA member companies, it is the most complete and relevant benchmarking study to-date for support operations.
The TSIA Support Services Benchmark gives companies a birdÂ’s-eye view of how their support services practices and business outcomes stack up against the industry and peer groups. It also enables them to gain perspective on their support services business challenges: Are they unique? Are others facing the same challenges? Additionally, companies that participate in the Support Services Benchmark are able to justify below-the-line investments in selling, marketing, services engineering, and service operations. It also allows them to defend hiring and resource management decisions.
The TSIA Support Services Benchmark is a set of 256 questions spanning five separate categories: support services, customer satisfaction, financials, entitlements, and demographics. Once the organization has completed the survey, the TSIA Research team analyzes the data and produces a report of overall company/organization health. The analysis and recommendations coming out of this survey are voluminous, enlightening, and laser-focused.
