(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 25, 2010 ) LAS VEGAS, NV – The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) honored Cisco, HP, Schlumberger Information Solutions, and Vital Images today as the most recent companies to successfully achieve certification in the association’s Organizational Development Program. The recognition took place at the Technology Services World conference in Las Vegas.
The Organizational Development Program is an integrated certification program designed to help member companies assess, improve, and recognize their support operation capabilities. TSIA offers three certification programs: J.D. Power and Associates Certified Technology Service & Support (CTSS), TSIA Excellence in Service Operations, and TSIA Rated Outstanding.
Highlights of the honoreesÂ’ achievements included:
• Cisco — J.D. Power and Associates CTSS. This distinction recognizes Cisco for delivering an outstanding technology service and support experience to customers globally. Cisco was previously certified in 2006, 2007, and 2008. J.D. Power and Associates evaluated Cisco on its assisted service over the phone and e-mail, as well as its non-assisted Web knowledge base and depot support.
• HP — TSIA Excellence in Service Operations. This marks the third consecutive year HP has achieved recognition in North America for personal computers and printers support; the second year HP has been certified in North America for business notebook and desktops support; the first year of certification in EMEA for personal computers and printers support; and the first year of certification in APJ for business notebooks and desktop support. HP remains the sole PC manufacturer to receive this coveted industry recognition in 2010, which comprises a comprehensive evaluation of phone, depot, field service, and Web service operations for the consumer and commercial customers.
• Schlumberger Information Solutions (SIS) — TSIA Excellence in Service Operations. SIS received certification for its global support operations in 2009 and now again in 2010, attaining a high standard in the areas of quality metrics, delivery of operational metrics, development and career opportunity for support representatives, and global inter-departmental collaboration to efficiently support operations, including service quality meetings and project readiness assessments.
• Vital Images - TSIA Excellence in Service Operations. Vital was recognized for delivering an outstanding technology service and support experience to customers in North America for the second year in a row. Vital Images is the first medical software company to be certified by TSIA.
