(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 22, 2011 ) SAN DIEGO, CA, March 21, 2011 –The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association dedicated to advancing the business of technology services, announced that Ruth Fornell, vice president of professional and software support services for NCR Corporation, will keynote the Women in Services (WIS) networking dinner at Technology Services World 2011 Silicon Valley (TSW SV) on Tuesday, May 3. The conference, hosted by TSIA, will take place May 2-4 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
The Women in Services charity reception and dinner is now a standing now a standing tradition at TSW that provides a rich and unique setting for senior women services executives to discuss business and career issues. In her keynote discussion, Fornell will share her career story and discuss how services accelerated her success. In her current role with NCR, she is responsible for software, software maintenance, and consulting services. Delivered by consultants worldwide, these services play a key role in NCR's profitable growth strategy. Her background also includes a stint as chief marketing officer for Teradata, a former division of NCR, which was spun off in 2007. Under her leadership, the division introduced its new brand that was designed to position Teradata to achieve its aggressive growth goals.
A portion of the proceeds from the dinner and chance drawings will be donated to Dress for Success San Diego, a charity organization that provides business attire and career counseling for financially challenged women.

Women in Services was created several years ago by TSIA and provides a unique and dedicated forum for professional members of the association.
