(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 19, 2011 ) SAN DIEGO, CA, April 18, 2011 – The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association dedicated to advancing the business of technology services, announced a technology-rich program for Technology Services World (TSW) 2011 Silicon Valley. TSW is hosted by TSIA and takes place May 2-4 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, this year with a major focus on the technology products and services required to deliver service success.
Select technology-focused events and tools will be highlighted at TSW, as follows:
• Services Technology Advantage. Services Technology Advantage is a new track at TSW composed of case studies presented by services practitioners and their partners. These sessions will delve into the details of successful projects and technology deployments in key areas such as social media, knowledge management, intelligent search, professional services automation, mobile enablement, and outsourcing.
• Expo Theater Solution Sessions. Expo Theater Solution Sessions will be presented by TSIA partners, with some including a customer co-presenter. Held in group settings conducive to Q&A and application-specific scenarios, these demonstrations will offer attendees rare insights into some of today’s most innovative products and solutions.
• Recognized Innovator Awards and Tours. The Recognized Innovator Awards have become highly regarded in the services industry, representing the only independently judged awards program that recognizes innovation in technology services products and service offerings that are documented with customer case studies of measurable business value and results. Recognized Innovator finalists will be showcased during Innovation Tours on May 2 & 3. Led by John Ragsdale, TSIA vice president of technology research, the May 2 Innovation Tour officially kicks off the TSW conference. Tour participants will vote for “Best in Tour,” which will be awarded at the Awards Luncheon on May 4 along with the Recognized Innovator Award winners.
• TSW EXPO. The TSW | EXPO is where attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with partners to determine which products and services they can leverage to take their services organization to the next level of performance. The TSW | EXPO showcases the industry’s best solutions that help service organizations thrive.
• Solutions Heatmap Touchscreens. Placed strategically throughout the TSW | EXPO, Solutions Heatmap touchscreens will direct conference-goers to providers that fall within specific service disciplines or functional areas of expertise. This will allow attendees to easily find the technology solutions and services that interest them most.
• Solutions Stage. The Solutions Stage, centrally located in the TSW | EXPO, is where TSIA vice president of technology research John Ragsdale will interview solutions providers on key technology trends identified by the TSIA community. The Solutions Stage continually draws the interest of attendees, as it showcases the best solutions and practices in today’s business arena.
• The 2011 TSIA Technology Heatmap: Service Technology Spending and Adoption Trends. In this TSIA Power Hour session, John Ragsdale will discuss which emerging technologies have been embraced by pacesetter companies across technical support, field service, education services, and professional services, revealing top vendors in key areas.
