(I-SoftwareNews.Com, October 17, 2012 ) SAN DIEGO and LAS VEGAS -- Jodi Schilling, vice president of customer operations for HP, was the keynote speaker at the Women in Services (WIS) networking dinner held at Technology Services World 2012 Service Transformations last night. The three-day conference, hosted by TSIA, is the preeminent source of learning and peer networking in the services industry.
Jodi Schilling leads HP’s customer support and services organization for the Printing and Personal Systems Americas organization. She is responsible for the customer experience and satisfaction and service delivery in Canada, the U.S., and Latin America. Jodi has been involved in various boards, including TSIA, and she’s also been active in diversity forums. This includes being a member of the Black Executive Leadership Forum, a founding member of the TSIA Women in Services Board, and a member of the HP HR Manager Centric Advisory Board. Jodi continues to be a mentor for various individuals both inside and outside HP.
In her keynote presentation, Jodi shared her story of key decisions, roles, and opportunities that enriched her both professionally and personally.
“The Women in Services dinner is considered to be a highlight of our TSW events,” said Diane Brundage, senior vice president of membership development for TSIA. “It brings together a prestigious group of industry thought leaders and offers an opportunity for them to network, collaborate, and become inspired.”
Tuesday evening’s event was sponsored by EMC, HP, NCR, and Oracle.
The Women in Services dining and networking event affords participants access to senior women executives in services to discuss business and career challenges. A portion of the dinner ticket price and chance drawing tickets are donated to Dress for Success San Diego and Dress for Success Southern Nevada. Dress for Success is a charity organization that provides business attire and career counseling for financially challenged women.
