  • CrushTheCubicle.com Releases Beta Version of New Augmented Reality Mobile Phone Game

(I-SoftwareNews.Com, November 27, 2012 ) Tipp City, OH -- CrushTheCubicle.com announces the release of a beta version of their new augmented reality mobile phone game called Crush The Cubicle. Directions on how to access and play the game can be found at http://CrushTheCubicle.com/game9.

Through the use of their groundbreaking augmented reality (AR) technology, players can throw paper wads through “actual space” to hit one of six cartoon co-workers. Direct hits spur hilarious rebuttals from the characters.

The Android beta version is already live in the Google Play store. The iPhone beta version should be live by December 1, 2012. Access is free… for now.

Crush The Cubicle goes beyond a flat mobile phone screen. Instead, players use the camera of their smart phone to “see” an external image (called the trackable image) that is associated with the game. This trackable image is essentially the key that unlocks the game.

Once a player centers the image, the phone’s screen no longer shows the trackable game image, but instead switches to the game’s augmented cartoon cubicle environment.

The distance the phone is away from the image and the angle of the phone impacts the difficulty of the game and players’ scores. This means users are no longer just playing on a 2D phone screen.

Gross, who is an internationally award-winning marketing and business professor, author, speaker, entrepreneur, and rock climbing guide states “we’re launching the site CrushTheCubicle.com and book Crush The Cubicle: 101 Jobs You Can Do From Anywhere to help people turn their dream of freedom into reality. But, career transitions can sometimes take a while and there are millions stuck in jobs that can be overwhelming, frustrating, or boring at times. So, we created the mobile phone game to entertain and help provide a bit of stress relief for those still plotting their escape.”

Gross is also offering a free sneak peak of her upcoming book "Crush The Cubicle: 101 Jobs You Can Do From Anywhere" at
