(I-SoftwareNews.Com, December 14, 2012 ) Los Angeles, CA -- Christmas Video Greeting Cards is a new app just released for iPhone and iPad that lets users create personalized video holiday cards in a few seconds. Users pick a holiday border, record up to a 30 second personal video and can even add some cool holiday background music in just a few clicks. The cards can then be emailed to friends and loved ones or shared on Facebook.
As an added incentive to spread holiday cheer, the creators of the app will be giving one lucky winner $250 cash and $250 for their favorite charity just for using the app to share their holiday wishes with the world.
According to Vietly Vu, one of the app's creators, "The app is great for staying connected to friends and family no matter where they are, but we also want to remind people of the magic of the season, that’s what the contest is really about."
The company said that they have already started receiving submissions and that people of all ages are sending in video cards sharing their holiday wishes. "Some are silly and funny, some are moving and touching, but all of them are inspiring. Our goal is for people to have fun, be creative, and inspire each other with their wishes, and that’s exactly what we are seeing." says Katelyn Nguyen, another one of the app's creators.
The app is currently available for iPhone and iPad users only, but the company will be using their Facebook page to post the submissions they receive so that everyone will be able to join in the fun.
