(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 07, 2008 ) San Diego, CA, May 7, 2008 – The Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA) Spring Summit, “Achievements in PS: Case Studies in Applied Innovation,” opened today with keynote presentations from many of the leading companies in the technology industry.
Helping set the stage for the event, Jeff Bane, vice president, Xerox Global Services Center of Excellence, presented “Leveraging Service Centers of Excellence.” Bane shared how Xerox Global Services’ utilization of a Centers of Excellence (COE) service strategy enabled dramatic improvements in program performance, customer satisfaction, and financial results.
“Implementation of our COE strategy allowed XGS to centralize escalations, tightly manage profit levers and initiatives, and improve support for delivery consultants and subject-matter experts as well as develop best practices and standards,” stated Bane.
“Xerox’s COE framework provides them the flexibility to deliver profitable revenue growth while optimizing services delivery. Their approach demonstrates clear accountability, reporting tools, management processes, and empowerment and incentives for account delivery leadership and teamwork across the Xerox organization,” commented Thomas Lah, executive director, TPSA.
The summit takes place May 4 – 6 in Santa Clara, CA. Conference highlights are available on the TPSA blog.
