(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 15, 2010 ) SAN DIEGO, CA - Are service processes dead? ThatÂ’s the provocative question that will be addressed by Francis Gouillart, co-founder and president of the Experience Co-Creation Partnership (ECC) and co-author of the soon-to-be-released book, The Power of Co-Creation, during his keynote address at TSIAÂ’s Technology Services World (TSW) conference Las Vegas, taking place October 18-20, to an audience of 1,000 technology services executives.
During his keynote, Gouillart will challenge services leaders to transform their one-way (dead) processes into two-way (living) (living) interactions that enable employees, customers, and suppliers to engage with each other in new ways, and conceive new experiences together.
“Within every technology company, there are legions of services employees who interact daily with customers and are uniquely positioned to be the conduit for driving greater levels of customer engagement and value creation that are accretive to the bottom line,” said Gouillart. “With the proliferation of tools and technologies that enable interactivity with customers, tech companies have a transformative opportunity to leverage their services organizations to tap into their customers’ desire to participate in the creation of services and products that are of mutual value.”
“For the last four years, TSIA has been beating the drum about the need for technology companies to leverage their services assets for a higher, more strategic purpose—to drive product consumption and enable customer success through the provisioning of new value-added services,” said J.B. Wood, president and CEO of TSIA. “The notion of co-creating value with customers plays right into this evolution. We’re excited that TSIA’s global community of services executives will be among the first to hear about this ground-breaking work from ECC Partnership at our fall conference.”
GouilartÂ’s keynote will take place at the Technology Services World 2010 conference at The Mirage Resort Las Vegas on Tuesday, October 19, at 9 a.m. TSW is produced by the Technology Services Industry Association and brings together the worldÂ’s largest gathering of technology services executives for three days of collaboration, learning, and networking.
