(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 04, 2012 ) Ashburn, VA -- Advanced Security by Academy of Computer Education (ACE) announces industry leading training courses designed for the United States Navy. These courses are the top advanced security training classes around and are particularly essential for individuals in the military. Three classes in particular are especially significant for Navy personnel: EC-Council Certified Security Analyst/Licensed Penetration Tester (ECSA/LPT), Cyber War, and Advanced Wireless Security (AWS).
The ECSA/LPT Certification training course instructs students on how to assess the security risks of a network based on deep hacking and penetrating methods and on common and advanced hacking/penetrating practices in order to test the security of a company's network. The class discusses how a network could be attacked and what measures can be taken to avoid security risks. Upon completion of this course and a passing grade on the exam, you will hold the ECSA certification. The LPT requires a separate application to be sent to the EC-Council for approval after completion of the class.
Cyber War, an advanced penetration testing training course, was written by a team of IT security and security training's most respected professionals. In this course, students will learn through hands-on training how to take different paths, use alternate methods and challenge traditional practices and software in penetration testing. They will also learn how to attack new operating systems such as Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and the latest Linux servers.
The Advanced Wireless Security (AWS) course will cover many of the fundamentals of wireless (802.11 specific) networking and security concepts, many intermediate concepts such as packet structure and analysis, authentication (Open/Shared), and encryption (WEP/WPA), and many of the fundamentals of WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK defenses and circumvention techniques. This advanced wireless security training class focuses on attacking and defending highly secured wireless environments such as those found in government and complex enterprise networks.
Advanced Security by Academy of Computer Education has been providing information security training for the United States Navy since 2003.
