(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 25, 2012 ) ANN ARBOR, MI - SimaFore Analytics, based in Ann Arbor, MI has received a U.S. Department of Energy funded subcontract to develop statistical optimization tools in a collaborative project titled “Simplified CFD analysis of tow-vehicles and trailer bodies”.
The project, supported by the Department of Energy (National Nuclear Security Administration) under Award Number DE-FC26-08NT01915, is managed by the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) and involves several other project partners, including the Ohio Supercomputer Center, which will provide high performance computing infrastructure.
SimaFore will provide statistical expertise to test and benchmark parameter ranking and estimation. SimaFore will develop custom analytics apps for providing “intelligent” feedback on selecting design parameters inside the CFD analysis loop.
