  • 'Bluetooth Software Download' Website Reports Eton Made a Ruckus with their Rukus Solar Bluetooth Speaker at CES 2012

(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 29, 2012 ) Reno, Nevada -- Solar powered devices manufacturer, Eton Corporation, displayed some of its latest product offerings in the 2012 Consumer Electronic Show. The products they put out in display definitely impressed trade show attendees.

Eton Corporation, which was previously known as Lextronics, made quite an impressive display of the latest product offerings they have in store for this year. Some of the big eye catchers they have laid out included the Eton Rukus Solar, Mobius iPhone Case, Eton FRX3 Safety Radio, and the Eton Axis Safety Radio.

Eton has long been known to offer products along the lines of todayÂ’s green technology. They have provided emergency radios in the humanitarian efforts in the Haiti earthquake back in 2010. Some of the products that they manufacture are even branded by the American and Canadian Red Cross.

    Making a Ruckus

Their Rukus Solar made quite a ruckus among the many attendees of CES 2012. This solar power Bluetooth speaker is one to tickle anyoneÂ’s fancy. Customers wouldnÂ’t even notice that it was solar powered since the solar panel was deftly placed into the overall design of the unit. The unit itself will require a total of six hours of sunlight to get the battery fully charged. However, if one is in a hurry, the Rukus Solar is also shipped with an AC adapter so that it can be charged a lot faster.

The solar panel is right on top of the unit so customers don’t need to work on any set up. There is a pocket to hold a user’s phone or other device. Since it connects via Bluetooth, connecting the speaker to any device is a cinch. The display at the front gives the playback information that is still visible even in direct sunlight. The Eton Rukus comes in two different models – one with a solar panel and the other one without. The units that are solar powered will be sold at $150 while the ones without the solar panel will be sold at $100 a piece.

True to the company slogan, EtonÂ’s new solar charging case for the iPhone, Mobius, another interesting product that consumers should expect. ItÂ’s a way to extend the battery life of the iPhone without consuming man made energy. This solar phone charger will definitely come in handy when one travels to places where access to an electrical outlet is difficult or at times impossible.

Imagine taking the Mobius Solar Charging Case to the next camping trip. The Mobius solar charger can fully charge an iPhone given about five to six hours. On the other hand, if there isnÂ’t much sun available, note that an hourÂ’s worth under the sun is equivalent to about 20 to 45 minutes on the phone. This and other products will be made available in May of this year. They will also offer their products in a variety of colors, which is something that people should watch out for.
